Bring a journal and pen, a bag lunch and a bathing suit if you’d like to swim. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring magazines or pictures that might be unique to you.
In this smoke-filled atmosphere, our thoughts turn to who and what is important to us.
You’re invited to spend a day involved in SoulCollage, exploring dimensions of community.
Who is your community?
How does it feed you?
What do you want from your community?
What is your identity in your community?
How do you create community?
What does your community expect of you?
Take part in a creative process that will help forge a pipeline to your deepest desires and memories. In challenging times, we turn to community to support us, to give us courage, to help us explore what is important to us.
We’ll awaken our intuitive processes as we select images using magazines, photos, calendars, and card. This process of exploration and self-discovery is fun and non-competitive, and no artistic experience is necessary.
Participants will learn how to make SoulCollage cards, with each card representing an aspect of community in our lives. You can use these collage cards for guidance in dealing with life’s questions and to deepen your understanding of your relationships with self and others.
